Irish Blessings Wreath

I haven't crafted in a loooong time. Most people got revved up over Valentine's, but the problem is that I'm still hungover from Christmas and P's January birthday. I have a feeling this isn't the only year I'll sit out V Day. So my first big crafty holiday of the year is St. Patrick's Day! And here's what's on our door right now:

I was inspired by the post over at Our Seven Dwarf's. They made shamrocks out of rosettes. The green bulk on the left of mine is supposed to be a shamrock. Can you tell?

I got the the Irish Blessings plaque and plaid shamrock from Hobby Lobby, and hot glued on rosettes until I was tired of making them. I think I'm might alter it next year to have a bow at the top like my inspiration did. Well...probably not: Let's just say instead that I think it might look better, more balanced with a bow.

So I tried it anyway, and it felt good to finish a project.
